Zombie Movie Poster Roundup – 90’s Zombies

Most fans of zombie films are quite familiar with the Romero classics, the Italian zombie boom in the late 70’s and 80’s, and then the recent overflow of the living dead. But one of the last decades to come to mind in a brief synopsis of the zombie history of film is the 90’s. Sure there were a handful, but nothing in comparison to the 80’s or the 21st century so far. Army of Darkness, Dead Alive (a.k.a. Braindead), and Return of the Living Dead III are a few of the more popular ones, so we’ll skip those posters. But in tribute to our friend at 90’s Horror, I’ve decided to pull together a zombie movie poster roundup dedicated to that desolate decade, including both posters and VHS box art of some zombie-themed films that are less talked about. Just hover over the picture for the title and year of the film.

Note: Several of these posters were sourced from one of my personal favorite sites for poster art, Wrong Side of the Art, check it out if you haven’t already.

  1. Ha, thanks for this (I think). You’ve also just cost me the best part of £30 as I’ve just had to order some.

    1. Haha, glad you enjoyed it, and certainly hope you enjoy the movies you’ve ordered. I highly recommend Cemetery Man, Bio-Zombie, and Premutos. The rest, of those I’ve seen, are fun as well.
